Ms. Hall joined the San Antonio office of Escamilla & Poneck, LLP in 1998 and since then has focused her practice in the areas of labor and employment and education law.
Currently, Ms. Hall serves as general counsel advising school districts on day to day legal issues including, but not limited to, governance, purchasing, employment, Public Information Act requests and Open Meetings Act questions. Ms. Hall also serves as employment counsel assisting clients with employment matters ranging from Equal Employment Opportunity Commission investigations to issues involving the Family Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
In addition to assisting clients in a general counsel capacity, Ms. Hall also assists clients with the review and preparation of policy manuals, employment handbooks and student codes of conduct. Ms. Hall conducts extensive training for administrators and board members on various topics including open government, employment issues, and legal issues affecting students.
Ms. Hall has served as an adjunct professor in the Education Department at the University of Texas at Austin where she taught School Law in the Educational Administration Doctoral Program.
